Upon entering the grounds of the property via a gated entrance which is electric, we are lead up the drive way which is to the right of the property. There is a car port at the end of the drive way which provides shade in the summer or you can park directly outside the house where the paved drive wraps to the left behind the property.
If we enter through the back door, which is shaded by a porch area, we are lead into a hall way. This hallway has a storage cupboard. Further ahead, to right we have the kitchen, straight ahead the living/dining room and the left the bedrooms and bathrooms.
The kitchen comes with all of its white goods included. There is plenty of storage space, both eye level and base units. The kitchen has a very good size pantry which could easily suffice as a laundry room as well. There is a wood burner stove in the kitchen also. Off of this division there is an office with an adjacent cloakroom, which could be turned into another bedroom. The river beach of Lago Azul is also very close and is very popular with locals and tourists. It was here also that was hosted the Wakeboard World Championship and the European one as well.
The popular and bustling town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, is around 20 minutes' drive from the villa. Tomar has a range of supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants, bus and train station, cinema, bowling alley and library as well as pharmacies, banks, schools, hospital and weekly market. It also has a train station
The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is around one and a quarter hours' by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by a variety of low cost airlines, which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
